Grade-III teachers protest in Jaipur over pending transfers | Jaipur News
On Wednesday, the protesting teachers also gave a 5-point suggestion to the state government on how transfers of Grade-III teachers can be started.
The list mentions transfers can take place before the REET examination scheduled for January 2023, transfers can be made for vacant posts of level 1 and level 2 teachers in various districts. They further said transfers must be made from tribal sub-plan areas to non-tribal sub-plan districts. The teachers’ body further demanded that the term dark zone be removed, and all districts must be given the same status.
“The Rajasthan Shikshak Sangh (Yuva) has been trying to get the government’s attention on this issue for a long time now, but there has been no response from the government due to which Grade-III teachers are quite angry. We request the government to take this up at the earliest without any delay,” said a statement issued by the teachers’ body.
Last week, Grade III teachers under the banner of Rajasthan Shikshak Evam Panchayati Raj Karamchari Sangh protested outside the collectorate offices in every district demanding to start transfers and stop giving non-educational works. During the protest they had said that some teachers have not been transferred for 15 years in parts of the state.
